Foil covers that share an interior

Foil is a finish, not a new comic. Several Marvel NFT comic editions in one family can share every interior page while wearing different metallic lockups. The atlas lists those editions as cover siblings.

The tell is the last page before the pin-up. If the recap box, the creator credits, and the page count match, the foil did not rewrite the issue. It only changed how light hits the cover.

Convention-window foils sometimes add a small badge that is absent from the weekday drop. We record the badge as trade dress, not as a new story.

When two foils actually diverge inside the book, the atlas splits them into separate branches instead of stacking them in one pile.
